Exciting Australian Results for Per Incanto

Saturday, 01 June 2024 00:36

After dual Group 1 winner Roch N Horse and Group 2 winner Lost And Running were retired and Group 1 Blue Diamond Stakes winner Little Brose went to Hong Kong, the 2023/24 Australian season has been about rebuilding for Per Incanto and going by recent results, including a couple of performances in Sydney during the week, it’s not going to be too long before the son of Street Cry has more headline horses across the Tasman.

Last month’s stakes winner Gringotts(pictured) is on a path to get a start in the Group 1 Stradbroke Handicap in a fortnight, while the stakes placed Jimmysstar has shown in limited appearances that he possesses the talent to get to some good races in the spring and beyond.

At Canterbury on Wednesday, Allapercanto recorded consecutive victories with a commanding three length win over 1550m while the Chris and Rosie Ealden bred three-year-old filly Grassburn, making her second start after finishing runner up on debut, finished strongly for a close second over 1250m.

Include the likes of this season’s $650k earner and multiple stakes placed two-year-old Rue De Royale and Per Incanto looks in for more heady times in Australia in 2024/25.

Per Incanto will stand the 2024 season at LA for an unchanged service fee of $50,000 plus GST.

A real sense of stockmanship and a love of the animal. When our mares arrive back from LA, they look like they’ve had a month at Club Med, with some of the trimmings of the buffet, but also the glow of having had the attention of a personal trainer
