Progressive 4YO Gringotts (Per Incanto-Miss Bluebell by Savabeel) registered his sires 29th black-type winner when victorious in the 1600m Listed Racing Members Handicap at Doomben on Saturday.

A last start winner of the $200k Tamworth Cup, Gringotts was installed a short priced favourite for his stakes debut and justified the punters confidence, showing a sharp turn of foot to win comfortably by nearly two lengths.

Winning jockey Jamie Kah expressed her high opinion of the Per Incanto gelding after the race, adding “… I galloped this horse months and months ago at Moonee Valley and got off him and said, ‘ Who is this horse? Gee he’s a nice horse.’ He’s put some nice wins together now and is in for a nice prep.”

Bred by Dirk and Nicci Oberholster, Gringotts record now stands at 13 starts for seven wins and five minor placings and $590k in stakes earnings.

LA’s only Per Incanto offering at the National Weanling Sale at Karaka on 20 June 2024 is lot 102, an outstanding Per Incanto filly on behalf of her breeder Angela Williams. At last years Sale, a Per Incanto colt was bought for $150k and then reoffered at this years Karaka Yearling Sale, selling for $500k.

Per Incanto stands at an unchanged service fee of $50,000 plus GST in 2024.
